Vinyl Records

I tried my best to put the calmest songs on my page so i can get serious everytime i hop on this j
Thanks Choitheboi

1887 - Edison made the first recording of a human voice ("mary had a little lamb") on the first tinfoil cylinder phonograph and this is where it all started.

cylinder wasn't good enough, so we came up with discs..
jazz was too lame, so we came up with rock..
magnetic tapes sucked so we came up with stereos..
cassette tapes skiped a lot, so cds took over for awhile. cds got scratched and had same problems. as cassettes... so we had a huge digital revolution and now, everyone has an ipod..

skipping all this history crap, George Neumann makes the illest sickest bestest condenser microphones for all kinds of media. From rock to rap, all professional studios have atleast 5 condenser mics.

Recently, people have been complaining about how songs are "too clean" and how it leaves out too many little details.

Thats like complaining to a waiter that your silverware is too shiny...

But if you listen to The Beatles or Led Zeppelin(any oldies), you can tell that the quality is not as clear. Basically, it sounds dirtier than today's music.. in a good way. So the media is about to change again but this time, we're going back to the vintage taste. Personally, I think its in human nature to be unsatisfied with present time and we're never going to find that perfect sound. That's why people like my dad still collects vinyls. You can hear true real quality music once you pop in Lynard Skynyrd - Black Betty on a vinyl player.

I think this can relate to a lot of us. Sometimes, we think we need to change to become a better person but we get so lost in that idea of becoming someone else, and somehow forget how good we used to be in the past(childhood).

Anyways, I had a dream a few days ago and I was stuck in a world where everyone was so pure and childish. No matter where I was, I knew I was safe and happy. Kind of like that one movie called The Invention of Lying. I was freaking out at first, but I became really comfortable with having everyone so strangely good to each other. Ended up waking up and being pissed off.

That's why I'm staying home, starving, finishing up this random ass post. I know its never going to happen, but lets try to kick it old school and go back to vinyls and be pure again.
